Customer Reviews

This was the highlight of my trip - despite poor fitness making some of the climbs fairly tough. It was great to ride a mixture of surfaces in the beautiful backdrop of table mountain. Excellent and friendly guides and support including lots of info from the office in advance. - Richard

We had a great experience that all our staff kept raving about for days after. Despite the rain at the start of the day, the DayTrippers team were ready and professional in their preparation, guidance and character. DayTrippers were so accommodating to our specific time frame, as well as our various fitness levels that everyone got to experience the Table Mountain Biking without affecting the rest of the group. Great Experience that we would all recommend to anyone! - Grove

Thank you, Daytrippers, for a terrific day of mountain biking on Table Mountain. The whole process could not have been easier. Our tour group was already scheduled to ride the cable car first thing in the morning, so Shelley at Daytrippers arranged for us to rendezvous at the base of the lift. Dennis pulled up in the Daytrippers van right on schedule and transported us about a half mile down the road to where the ride started. There Chris, our guide, was waiting with the bikes already off-loaded and ready for fitting. The ride itself was terrific although I would recommend that if you are doing it you be in shape and have some mountain biking experience. Although it challenged some of our age 60+ group everyone did finish and enjoyed the ride immensely. From our starting point near the cable car we ascended slightly to an old stone fort and then, wrapping around the mountain, descended to the Rhodes Memorial near the University. After a brief rest and snacks provided by Daytrippers we climbed for several kilometers ascending about 250 vertical meters back to our starting point. Afterwards Dennis kindly dropped us off at Truth - Cape Town's steampunk coffee shop. Thanks again, Daytrippers. - Michael
