Great experience! We did a tour at noon and although this is not optimal we spotted a lot of dolphins. These beautiful creatures swam with us. So nice. Also penhuins and seals on our way. Nice view of Capetown from the water as well. Very friendly tourguides and a lovely juicebar/ lunchroom/ beachchair/ sauna (!) at the entrancepoint. - Karin

When I was planning my trip to South Africa, I randomly came across The Truth on Instagram. And for some reason, I just knew they were the right ones to start my experience with. Everything attracted me - from the name to the atmosphere, which I could feel even through the screen. I followed their content for a while, and it just felt right. On the very first day of my trip, I joined the team for kayaking, and I can honestly say that this session boosted my whole journey and set the tone for everything that followed. Later, I came back for other activities like hiking and e-biking, and I even returned again for the sunrise kayaking - that experience that was simply unforgettable!! It was an absolutely amazing experience. A pod of dolphins swimming and jumping out the water within touching distance of the kayak. One of the best excursions i have ever done. The guide Shanti was great, very knowledgeable and played good music. - James

A Must-Do Cape Town Adventure: Kayaking with the Truth Team If you're looking for a bucket list experience in the Mother City, look no further. My daughter and I had been long planning of hitting the water with Truth and let me tell you, it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived the Truth team blew us away. They are hands-down the most engaging, high energy, and knowledgeable crew I have met. Their passion is infectious and they go above and beyond to make sure you're not just safe but having the absolute time of your life. The kayaks are top tier and a total dream to handle. We set off under a glowing mid-morning sun, gliding across glass-like water that offered a perspective of Cape Town you simply can't get from the shore. The visibility was perfection; we could see right down to the seabed. It felt like our own private aquarium as we drifted past playful dolphins, Gary the seal, cute little jellyfish and watched cormorants diving nearby. Incredible to watch a vibrant underwater world teeming with life among the kelp forest from the kayak. The adventure doesn't end when you hit the shore. Their base at Prom Park is a hidden oasis. It's the perfect spot to decompress after your paddle, featuring fantastic coffee, delicious local foodie spots, and great amenities. It's rare to find an experience where the service is as spectacular as the scenery, but Truth nails it. Whether you're a local like me or visiting from near or far, this is an absolute must-do. Happy times, stellar vibes, and memories that will last a lifetime! Highly recommend this to anybody wanting to kayak either as skilled or entirely a novice. Useful tips Wear water shoes not your Birks. You get life jackets. You don't get wet but you should wear comfy clothing. You can store personal items at base. You might want to consider taking a water or juice with you. Don't hesitate to pick up litter on the water if you see it. Above all, enjoy it! - Nicky

What an incredible morning on the ocean! We did the sunrise kayak and saw had the most perfect morning and saw some dolphins too! Great team and great vibes all around! If you're visiting Cape Town during the summer months, this is a MUST DO! 10/10! Two Thumbs up! Would highly recommend! - Carmen
