The approximately 1 hour-long meander along the river, flanked by indigenous Breede River Yellowwood and Wild Olive trees teeming with a variety of bird species, sets the scene for a leisurely riverside experience. Fill your picnic basket to the brim with sumptuous fare from our deli and enjoy your picnic during your trip down the river. What better way to spend a laid-back afternoon with family and friends?
The 50 minute river cruise comes at a mere R120 for adults and R50 for children between 3 and 12 years. Babies are welcome too. Kids below the age of 3 are free of charge.

The boat departs daily at various times depending on reservations.
Thereafter there will be trips hourly depending on bookings. Advanced bookings essential. Check-in 45 mins. prior to departure.

We have always enjoyed all our visits to Viljoensdrift. This time around was no difference and we were received well and friendly and warm, the normal Robertson people as always. Our visit there was great with great wine, exceptional food and the boat trip was an absoluut highlight. Although the river was flowing strongly, we always felt in good hands.
