The approximately 1 hour-long meander along the river, flanked by indigenous Breede River Yellowwood and Wild Olive trees teeming with a variety of bird species, sets the scene for a leisurely riverside experience. Fill your picnic basket to the brim with sumptuous fare from our deli and enjoy your picnic during your trip down the river. What better way to spend a laid-back afternoon with family and friends?
The 50 minute river cruise comes at a mere R100 for adults and R30 for children between 3 and 12 years. Babies are welcome too. Kids below the age of 3 are free of charge.

The boat departs daily at various times depending on reservations.
Thereafter there will be trips hourly depending on bookings. Advanced bookings essential. Check-in 45 mins. prior to departure.

Thank you we enjoyed our afternoon. Long drive from Strand. If I could make a recommendation I would recommend that the picnic food option be expanded a bit and maybe made a bit easier to prepare and eat we found it messy and uncomfortable. We were there on a very hot day so the cheese was very soft and not pleasant. Maybe some crisps and more sweet things? The Pizza we ate was great we thoroughly enjoyed it.
