We offer the best Zipline Tour in Africa. Come and experience this 1,4km of pure adrenalin Eco Adventure, consisting of 8 slides varying from 100-290m in length. This Eco-Adventure is safe, fast and long. The tour takes place in the Schurweberg Mountains below the Koekedouw Dam in Ceres.

The Zipslide Tour is the ideal breakaway for your company’s team building or year-end function. A load of family fun and an ideal activity for an awesome bachelors or birthday party.

SAFETY
We pride ourselves on our safety due to the quality of our installations, the equipment that we use and our professional guides. Furthermore, there are strict criteria set by the Insurance Companies which we have to abide by. We are also one of the only companies in the world to have our own patented zip line braking systems. “Foefie Brake©” & “Foefie Stop©”.

*Note that under no circumstances patrons are allowed to handle any equipment.

HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR TAKE?
The average group size of 8 people takes about 1hour to 1hour 15 min. Note that this might vary due to factors such as:

When accommodating very large groups 50+ people.
The number of children in the group.
The number of parents and children sliding in Tandem.
Persons in the group with a fear of heights.
When raining it takes time to dry the rain suits.
Zipliners are transported from our offices into the mountain with our “Zipline taxi/bus”
It is a short (5km) drive down the main road and through suburban Ceres and then up into the mountain.
The bus will then transport you back to our office upon completion of the Zipline Tour.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has had an immense impact on us globally and South Africa has been declared as being in a national state of disaster.

Ceres Zipline Adventures are open and operational as usual but we have implemented some precautionary measures.

Guest safety:

- If you are not feeling well please reschedule your Zipline Tour.
- Please make use of provided anti septic soap, in the bathrooms, and wash your hands before and after your Tour.
- Please make use of provided hand sanitizer on the counters.
- Guides and guests wear woven, material gloves during the Tour and these gloves are washed after every use and dried in a tumble drier.
(the virus does not like heat!)
- All counter tops are cleaned on a regular base and after contamination with antiseptic cleaner.

Here are a few tips about Coronavirus safety in your public space and what you need to do when visiting us:

The coronavirus is mostly spread through direct contact (with respiratory droplets) which is released when someone sneezes or coughs. In other words one has less change of picking up the virus by Ziplining in the open fresh air, than by standing near someone who’s sneezing and coughing. It is less likely although still possible that one can get coronavirus by touching a contaminated surface. COVID-19 is NOT transmitted through perspiration.

In this trying time we understand the fear and anxiety you may feeling and we want to reassure our guests that we are taking every possible measure to limit the spread of the virus while also continuing to offer the Zipline Tours.

We thank you for your support during these challenging times

Customer Reviews

It was a positive experience throughout! Very neat and accommodating office. Very friendly staff. I was impressed with the fact that the main guide addressed us in Afrikaans, although it was not his home language. They really made us feel special and their jokes were welcome to lessen the stress of the first slide! The process was clearly explained and we felt safe in their hands. The fact that the main guide took pictures and videos of high quality on our cell phone all along was amazing! The area is beautiful to slide through, with many rock pools below and stunning rock formations along the slides. Very impressed all over - keep up the good work!!! - Lizette Opperman

Great experience. Real value for money. Very professional guides. Will definitely recommend it. Awesome views of nature. Will do it again! - Josephine Conradie

Awesome! Friendly staff and well organised - Reinet Pieterse

Had an amazing time, thank you - Susan Belling

Really fun time - guides were engaging and super helpful Rachel in particular did an amazing job in supporting my 10 year daughter and her initial nerves - she really enjoyed it and was proud that she was able to do such a "dangerous" thing Thanks to all guides and office staff Also the booking was easy over a phone browser and really made it easy to organize the outing - Tim Hadingham
