Activity Description

Join us for a guided kayak adventure there and back to watch the setting sun and a rising moon.
Enjoy incredible views along with visits from the local wild life. Dolphins, penguins, sunfish and even the odd whale.
Watch the sun set over the ocean and then turn around to watch the moon rising over the Helderberg mountains.
On a still calm evening there is not much that can beat a sunset and moon rise at sea.

WeatherTrips are dependent on the sea and weather conditions. We will not run a tour in the rain, fog, big swell or winds over 10knots.
What to Wear​Comfortable beach wear or exercise clothing that you run or hike in, quick dry clothing works best. Be prepared for sun exposure and wind chill factor while being splashed. If you’re kayaking in cold weather, you’ll also need to dress appropriately. The sea temperature of the Atlantic Ocean is colder in summer (9–14°C), so bring something warm and a change of dry clothes to change into afterwards.
Things to BringA dry bag or waterproof container for your belongings A hat Sunglasses Water Snacks Flip flops (or ‘plakkies’) or water shoes are recommend.

Notes

To avoid not having a fab time by checking the weather forecast, dress appropriately, bring your prescribed allergy medication (asthma pump, allergy tablets, sea sick tablets, insulin etc) along with you. Bring your water bottle, apply sunscreen and stay hydrated.
