Join the wine tractor for a hop on hop off wine tasting tour of up to 8 of Stellenbosch’s finest wine farms. Come on a wine tasting adventure as we sample some of the finest wines produced in South Africa on a wine tasting journey through the vineyards. Please note that cellar tours are not included in the tour. Cellar tours can be arranged directly with the wineries and need to be pre booked with the wineries. We also have a special cupcake service for celebrations, were you can pre-order cupcakes from Spoon Bakery. The cupcakes are baked fresh and will be waiting for you when you arrive.

We offer a shuttle service for our 10h30am timeslot, our meeting point for pick-ups is the Gardens Bowling Club [Upper Wandel St, Gardens, Cape Town, 8001. Please be at the meeting point at 9h15am and note that shuttle will return at 18h00pm from Stellenbosh.
Wine farms on the route: Eikendal vineyards, Longridge wine estate, Granghurst wine estate, Annandale wine estate, Avontuur wine estate, Webersburg wine estate, Peter Falke wine estate. Alto wine estate is temporarily closed till June 2025 for Renovations .

Thank you winetractor-team for inviting us to a ride through vineyards in our Helderberg / Stellenbosch area. It is a hop-on hop-off tour and a good way to discover the true essence of this part of the valley with picturesque vineyards, breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, fine wines and delicious food. Passengers will experience an introduction to the wine farms from the guide as they journey through vineyards in an open-air tractor-trailer. Different tour options follow a loop of stops allowing guests to hop off at each stop. We started with a welcome glass of wine at Eikendal, next station Longridge wine farm. The Emily Cuvee and the Chardonnay of the organic wine farm are a fabulous way to start a wine tasting. Our second round of wine tasting was at Webersburg while seated under the trees next to the dam. The Rose' was the favorite of the four wines. Another tractor ride and we arrived at Alto for lunch. Then we went for wine tasting at Annandale wine farm which was founded in 1688 and tasted their red wines. We made a stop at Peter Falke wine for other passenger to hop on and off the tractor ride before getting back to Eikendal. We had a fabulous day and enjoyed the ride to different wine farms. - Elke
