On this incredible 3 hour food tour of Cape Town we will be able to experience some of the amazing foods and people that make South Africa such an amazing place today
We will start our tour at Atlas spice the oldest spice store in Cape Town opened and a vital part to discover the true history of Cape Town as a half way station between Europe and India and at Atlas spice they bring whole bulk spices all the way from India to keep it 100% pure spice
Visit the Biesmiellah restaurant a family run restaurant in B0-Kaap since 1982 and a true icon in the city of Cape Town today where we will get to try South Africa’s national dish the Bobotie and a traditional falooda
Bo-Kaap is about so much more than just colourful houses it is also about the people. and as such we will be visiting a traditional Cape Malay home for a taste of Bo-Kaap
Next we willl move to honest chocolate cafe owned by 2 friends Anthony and Michael for a taste of the best chocolate in town
Cape Town has a wonderful coffee culture and to embrace this culture we will make a visit to heaven coffee at the Central Medodist church for best African blend coffee
Visit the oldest restaurant in Cape Town Mozart on church (a place with a very interesting history) for a traditonal Cape Malay chicken curry
We will end the tour at Boma on Bree for traditional South African biltong and a malva pudding
